The festival has the knack of creating a melting pot of a musical styles for different generations. The line up of the Vieilles Charrues festival is a mix of headliners and newcomers. The lineup will appeal just as much to electro mad teenagers as pop fans and rocking granddads. Its recipe for success has remained the same with a mix of eclecticism and conviviality, legends, and legends in the making. Every year, we program “the past, the present and the future of music” as NME say.

All styles of music are presented : rock, hiphop, electronic, pop, funk, world music, chanson française, folk, and of course traditional music of Brittany…

Our project, Label Charrues, promotes and encourages young musical talent from Brittany : this year, we support a young pop project from Rennes, “La Battue” and a noise band from Saint Brieuc : “Dewaere”.
