The simple idea of a Skip James tribute

Driven by an urge to play and sing together, Jack Titley and Pauline Willerval came up with the simple idea of a Skip James tribute. But the humble project turned out to be their greatest succès. A strong acoustic base (Cello, Bulgarian Gadulka and american 5 string Banjo) and settle yet powerful voices have many times brought tears to their audiences eyes, and convinced them to continue the adventure.

In order to set the challenge a little higher, they will return in 2022 with an « hommage » to the subversif and poetic french legend: Brigitte Fontaine.
